This website is the result of that effort — a free, open, and transparent electricity bill calculator built directly from the official UPPCL tariff schedule published by the U.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) for FY 2025-26. Every formula on this website is derived from the publicly available official rate schedule — nothing is estimated or guessed.
The Problem I Am Solving
Electricity billing in India, particularly in Uttar Pradesh under DVVNL (Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited), involves multiple tariff categories, slab-based pricing, seasonal variations in minimum charges, and several additional surcharges. Consumers are rarely educated about any of this. This information gap leads to overcharging going unnoticed and disputes being unresolvable.
My mission is simple: every consumer should be able to open this website, enter their meter readings, and know exactly what they owe — and why.
